General Instructions

Total Alkalinity: Should be maintained between 125 ppm – 150 ppm.

pH Range: Should be maintained between 7.2 – 7.6.

Testing: Ensure your spa water is tested prior to adding Spa Fresh Ultra pH & Alkalinity Up.

Dosage: Add 18g per 1000 litres of water to increase Total Alkalinity by 10 parts per million (ppm).

Directions for Use

Calculate Amount: Determine the required amount based on dosage instructions.

Dissolve in Water: Dissolve the product in a bucket of water.

Add to Spa: Pour slowly into the spa water with the pump and filter operating.

Run Filter: Run the filter for at least 1 hour.

Re-test Alkalinity: Allow 3-4 hours before retesting the Total Alkalinity.

pH Adjustment Instructions

Test Water: Test for both Total Alkalinity and pH

Adjust Alkalinity First: Always adjust Total Alkalinity before raising the pH.

Calculate Amount: Determine the required amount for pH adjustment.

Dissolve in Water: Dissolve in a bucket of water.

Add to Spa: Pour slowly into the spa water with the pump and filter operating.

Run Filter: Run the filter for at least 1 hour.

Re-test pH: Allow 3-4 hours before testing the pH level again.

Important Notes

If the pH has been 6.8 or lower for some time and corrosion of metal fixtures is apparent, seek professional advice before adding Alkalinity & pH Increaser to avoid metal staining.
